Assistance to local authorities

Local authorities benefit from specific measures to develop public charging infrastructures. This includes financial support and legislative obligations aimed at improving access and availability of charging stations in their area.

Master Plan for Development

Local authorities can create a master plan for the development of charging infrastructure, allowing them to coordinate deployment efforts in their area.

Coverage of Connection Costs

Publicly accessible charging infrastructure included in master plans benefits from coverage of 75% of connection costs to the electricity network until 2025.

Support from the Bank of Territories

The Bank of Territories can co-finance the development of a master plan, thus facilitating the development of charging infrastructure.

Equipment Obligation

Starting in 2025, parking lots of non-residential buildings with more than 20 spaces must be equipped with at least one charging point for every 20 spaces.
